Hello Darling!

Living out an active lifestyle has always been very important to me. Over the past year though, I have made it a goal and priority of mine to find a weekly workout schedule that worked best for my body. Everyone is different and it is important to figure out what works best for you. I am so happy to say that over this past year I have now found the best workout schedule for myself by combining three of my favorite type of workouts- pilates, yoga and HITT. Today, I am so excited to share that weekly workout schedule and why I love it so much.

Create Your Own Workout Schedule

I want to begin by reiterating that everyones body is different and that it is important to find a schedule that works best for you and your body. Though I have seen the best results from this schedule I encourage you to take time to figure out what works best for you and I hope this post encourages you to do just that.

My Current Weekly Workout Schedule And Why I Love It So Much

For over 7 years now I have been practicing HITT ( High-intensity interval training) workouts. I started with BBG workouts in college and still do her workouts every so often but most recently joined Orange Theory. I have loved it and it has been great to add one day of HITT to my weekly workout schedule. What has been the best for me is -pilates. About 2 years ago I decided to take my first pilate reformer class and have not looked back since. It has increased my flexibility, my balance but more importantly I have been able to build that long lean muscle that I had been striving for years to achieve. It is a workout that truly brings me joy. Since this is by far my favorite workout, I practice this at least 3 times a week. The third workout that I do once maybe twice a week is hot yoga. It is my time to relax, refresh and sweat! I like to throw this workout in on Tuesdays and sometimes Saturdays to sweat out all the toxins from the week.

Weekly Workout Schedule

Here is a complete rundown of my weekly workout schedule:

Monday- Pilates

Tuesday- Yoga

Wednesday- Orange Theory

Thursday- Pilates

Friday- Pilates

Saturday- Yoga/ Pilates

Sunday- Rest Day

Houston Workout Classes That I love

Since I do go to a verity of classes, I thought I would share some of the classes and studios that are apart of my weekly schedule here in Houston.

Pilates:

Boost, Defy, HIP

HITT:

Orange Theory

Yoga:

Black Swan

When I am traveling I use my MindBody app or ClassPass to find classes and studios to attend. If our hotel has a nice gym I will typically do BBG Kayla Itsines workouts ( you can check out a review I did on BBG here).

I encourage you to go out and get active. Create a workout schedule that you love. It’s important to create an active lifestyle that works best for you. If you have any questions about my schedule please let me know in the comments below.

YOU ARE SO LOVED!

XOXO,Tay

  1. Such a gorgeous work out look! I love your tips on incorporating fitness while traveling. I find that it is quite the challenge to stick to a routine when I’m out of town so these are very helpful. Thanks for sharing your work out schedule!

If you love HIP and Defy you should definitely check out Fyre Fitness in the Heights, it’s my favorite Lagree studio in Houston! They have $15 trial class for first timers and they’re on Class Pass.
