Today I am so excited to share my current workout routine + a BBG review. I have received so many requests over the past few months to write this post and I am so happy to finally share it with you today.
My Current Workout Routine
Working out is something I look forward to everyday. Now have I always felt that way, ABSOLUTELY NOT! It took me years to find a workout routine that I love. For me it’s all about doing workouts that make you feel good, push you, encourage you and that make you a healthier, and happier person.
In high school, I became very sick and found out that I had a thyroid disorder. From this came a passion and love to pursue a healthy lifestyle. It’s very important for me to have a healthy workout routine that will keep my endorphins up daily. So throughout college and over the past few years I tried many workout classes, programs, personal training and so on. I’ve now found a routine that not only fits my schedule, but keeps me healthy and happy.
- Monday- A 50 min Pilate Reformers Class
- Tuesday- Run 1-2 miles
- Wednesday– BBG workout or a HIP ( High Intensity Pilates ) class
- Thursday- Run 1-2 miles
- Friday– A 50 min Pilate Reformers Class
- Saturday– Hot yoga
- Sunday– Active rest day
If you follow me on Instagram, you know I LOVE Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide! I first discovered BBG while I was in college and have used the program off and on ever since. Since it was a while ago when I first discovered BBG, I use this pdf guide that I bought in college. One of the biggest reasons I love BBG is because of how easy it is to do anywhere. You can do these workouts at home, at the gym, while you’re traveling, etc. These workouts are KILLER but the results are completely and totally worth it!
Each workout is divided up into four 7 minute high-intensity interval training . Each day is different and works different parts of the body. It’s a 12 week program that will change your life. I completed the program all the way through this past summer and it was such an accomplishment for me. I could not recommend this program enough! You will love it!
