Hello Darling!

Todays post is a very special one because not only do I get to introduce you to one of my very best friends in the world, but I also get to talk about some amazing life lessons I have learned from her. My Momma truly is one of the best people I know. She is kind, thoughtful, servant-hearted, beautiful ( I mean look at her in this gorgeous dress 😉 ) and the list goes on. She really is amazing! As we draw nearer to Mother’s Day I thought it would only be fitting to have her as a special guest to celebrate.

Important Life Lessons I Learned From Momma

I will be honest, to try to sum up the life lessons my momma has taught me to fit into this post is very difficult. There are so many that I have learned, and I attribute a lot of the woman I am today to her. Though I may not have enough room to share all that she has taught me here today, there are a few that have been a huge impact on my life.

To love with all of your heart

She is by far the most loving person I know. She takes the time to make everyone around her not only feel special but most importantly loved. As a little girl I noticed very early on how she smiled at everyone she walked by, said hello to strangers, invested in each and every one of her friendships, and how she would simply take the time to ask others how she could be praying for them. She has always inspired me to love others well.

To put others needs above your own

This is something that I have come to treasure and notice more as I have gotten older. Throughout my whole entire life, she has always put her family and friends needs above her own. Taking care of us no matter what it looked like. Of course, growing up I just thought this was normal but now I know what a treasure and gift it is. She has continually showed me how to lead and love with a servant-heart, always putting others needs before my own.

To love God with all your heart, soul and mind. Looking to him for everything

This is the most important life lesson she could have and will ever teach me. Her and my dad have always instilled the love of God in our family. She continually taught us to love him with all our heart, soul and mind (Luke 10:27) . No matter what we went through she always looked to Him, and taught us to do the same. This is a life lesson that I will forever be grateful for.

My heart is so happy to have been able to share this amazing women with you today. I look up to her and more ways than I can count and love her with all of my heart! Throughout this next week I encourage you to write down some of the life lessons you have learned from the Mother figure in your life. I promise it will not only bring you joy but it will honor her in ways you can’t imagine.

YOU ARE SO LOVED!

XOXO,Tay
