Hello Darling!

Wedding season is here! Whether you are planning your own wedding, or attending a wedding,  this season is always sure to be filled with lot’s of fun festivities. So I thought today, I would share a fun little guide on the proper wedding guest attire.

When picking a dress to wear to a wedding I always go by the “three C’s” – CLASSIC, COLOR, CUT.

CLASSIC

When investing in a formal dress you always wanted to stick to something that will stand the test of time. Something that screams elegance, but also expresses your personal sense of style.

COLOR

The color of your dress should not be too flashy. Your best bet is to stick to a solid color.Black is always a safe but if you are going to go with a brighter color make sure that it is subtle. And of course, the rule of all rules- NEVER wear white.

CUT

Make sure the cut of your dress is something that will not be too reveling. Something you are comfortable in around family, and most important something that will not fall off of you while you are dancing the night away 😉 ( If you are going to wear a low cut dress as I did, make sure to invest in fashion tape )

I wore this gorgeous Jill Jill Stuart Gown last weekend to a friends wedding and I fell in love. It is classic, the color is perfect, and the cut is extremely elegant. I would recommend it to all wedding guest attendants, especially during the fall and winter seasons. It also makes the perfect holiday dress! I have linked the exact outfit details below, plus some similar items.

It’s always great to invest in a gorgeous gown for weddings, but if you do not want to spend the big bucks head on over to Rent The Runway. It is the perfect place to find all of your wedding and holiday dresses at the BEST prices. I am so thankful for RTR and will be using them so much during my wedding season.

I hope you’re having a wonderful week! Let me know yours thoughts about wedding guest attire in the comments below.

YOU ARE SO LOVED!

XOXO,Tay
