5 Essential Shoes for the New Year

I hope you are having a FABULOUS first week of 2016, still have to get used to saying that. It is so important to start the year off on the right foot, or more specifically in the right shoes 😉

Many of you know that I am a shoe lover! (it might be a problem- oops ) I love shopping for fun new shoes, but I think it is important to have the basics in your closet. I thought it would be fun to put together a list of 5 essentials shoes to have in the new year.

1. Running Shoes– With all of those new fitness resolutions it is important to have the right shoes. I love Nike running shoes, especially these classic black ones. The cute design makes them a little more fashionable so if you are running around town after your workout these are the perfect shoes to go out in.
2. Ballet Flats– Ballet flats are a must! Finding cute ones that you can wear on an everyday basis is very important. Whether you go with the classic nude/black flats or you go with flats with a simple design on them like these Kate Spade ones, you can not go wrong.
3. Strappy Heels– I love strappy feminine heels. Sticking with the classic black or nude you can wear these heels on a date, to a wedding, or just when you feel like being a little more girly.
4. Classic Stilettos– These heels are a MUST in any woman’s closet. Even if you are not a heel lover, it is always important for you to have a pair of these in your closet for a special occasion. Again, going withe the classic nude or black is smart because they truly go with anything.
5. Comfortable Boots– Especially in the winter time, boots are very important. Having some flat, comfortable boots will allow you the freedom to dress them up or down but still staying comfy. These boots are my absolute favorite! You can find many look alines to at a much better price.
